Work Hours: 9:30 – 5:30, (Flexible) 40 hours a week

Location: 3621 Columbia Pike 10 suite 10, Arlington, VA 22204

Salary: 48k a year + 7 – 10% of shop sales

Responsibilities:

• Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to accurately pinpoint and address vehicle issues, ensuring each exotic car operates at peak performance.
• Complex Repairs: Undertake intricate repair tasks, especially for high-performance components unique to exotic vehicles, ensuring each repair adheres to Capital Exotic’s high standard of quality.
• Mentorship: Guide and train junior technicians, sharing expertise and ensuring best practices are upheld across the team.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough post-repair inspections to guarantee every vehicle’s safety and performance, reinforcing the premium service promise of Capital Exotic.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in automotive technology, especially pertaining to luxury and exotic brands, ensuring the maintenance and repair techniques are always cutting-edge.
• Customer Consultations: Engage with clients to provide expert advice, repair estimates, and recommendations, ensuring transparency and trust in Capital Exotic’s services.
• Maintain Workshop Standards: Oversee the maintenance of tools, equipment, and the work environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace in line with Capital Exotic’s reputation.

Qualifications:

• Certification: ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Master Technician certification or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Specialized Training: Manufacturer-specific training or certifications for high-end or exotic car brands.
• Hands-on Experience: Multiple years (e.g., 5-10) of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, preferably with luxury or exotic vehicles.
• Advanced Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and software tailored for high-performance and exotic vehicles.
• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of advanced automotive systems, including electronics, hydraulics, and computer-controlled components.
• Continuous Learning: A track record of attending workshops, courses, or seminars related to evolving automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Problem-solving Abilities: Demonstrated capability to diagnose complex issues and develop effective solutions under time constraints.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both peers and customers, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Team Leadership: Experience leading or mentoring junior technicians, showcasing leadership and guidance capabilities.
• Physical Fitness: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy parts or tools and standing for extended periods.
• Clean Driving Record: A pristine driving record, ensuring the safe handling of clients’ precious vehicles.
• Attention to Detail: An eye for precision, ensuring every repair or maintenance task meets the high standards set by Capital Exotic.
